Professional Development

Back

SURWEB disseminates information about the professional development workshops in a number of ways.  The SURWEB site contains a detailed calendar that enables the volume of training requests to be managed by a small staff.  In addition, information about SURWEB is disseminated technology meetings throughout the state of Utah; through fliers and other mailings; through listserves; and 5) through growing word-of-mouth interest, as reflected by inquiries to the project. Table 10 displays SURWEB training data for 1998-2000.  As can be seen in Table 10, over 14,000 teachers and students have participated in the 436 SURWEB conducted between 1998 and 2000.
